Installation Steps:

 

1. Shut off the water supply to the tub/shower.
2. Remove the knob center cap&knob, slide off the outside sleeve.
3. Remove the brass bonnet .（try by hand firstor gently use channel-lock pliers）
4. Remove the old cartridge, clean the sediment and debris in the pipeline
5. Insert the new cartridge, thread and tighten the brass bonnet (If you remove the backing plate, clean the old caulk away and clean all parts)
6. Slide the outer sleeve back on, replace the backing plate and install it in place.
7. Replace the knob and install in place, and replace the center cap.
